We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team.

As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating the loader on site, assisting with day-to-day operations, maintenance and cleaning of the rig. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting pre-start checks and safely operating/driving a Front-End Loader
  • Loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Setting out necessary work signage as per a Traffic Control Plan
  • Maintaining the Loader and performing minor repairs as required
  • Carrying out basic housekeeping tasks on the Rig

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A valid Front-End Loader Ticket and Certificate of Competency
  • An understanding of servicing/maintaining rig engines and equipment
  • A positive attitude towards safety policies and procedures
  • The full right to live and work in Australia
  • The ability to work outdoors in remote locations
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • The ability to work long hours and in extreme weather conditions
  • Must be able to work at heights
  • Able to follow directions and company policies
  • Must be able to complete on-job training within allocated time
  • Valid open and manual full C (Car) Class driver's licence
  • Awareness of Chain of Responsibility Regulations
  • A general knowledge of machinery is highly regarded
  • Team player, good communicator, sound safety appreciation, time management and competent computer skills
