Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in Sydney. As an ESG research analyst, you will play a key role in covering ESG issues affecting companies and industries within the Australian market.

You will build relationships with industry participants and assist senior analysts in conducting research and publishing reports on ESG trends. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining databases of relevant information, performing company analysis, and providing written and oral commentary on ESG matters.

  • Strong numerical and financial modelling skills, with expertise in valuation techniques and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience working in an ESG-related field or equity research is preferred but not required.
  • Degree educated in accounting, finance, economics, or a social science degree.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining databases of relevant information, conducting research and analysis, and providing written and oral commentary on ESG matters.

This includes developing strong relationships with industry participants, assisting senior analysts in publishing reports, and maintaining a thorough understanding of ESG trends and issues.

Requirements:

Strong numerical and financial modelling skills, with expertise in valuation techniques and financial statement analysis.

Experience working in an ESG-related field or equity research is preferred but not required.

Degree educated in accounting, finance, economics, or a social science degree.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
