About the Role

We're seeking an experienced OSHC Service Manager to lead and manage our service, ensuring operation in line with government regulations, legislation, National Quality Framework, and organisational requirements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, inspiring a culture of safety, and driving positive change in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the service, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, children, and community members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of safety and well-being within the service.
  • Work collaboratively with the Area Manager to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum Diploma in childhood studies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatory authority.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing OSHC operations.
  • A Working with Children Check/Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • An open licence and willingness to operate a 12-seater minibus.
  • A Light Rigid or Medium Rigid driver's licence, eligible to obtain an RDA (if undertaking Bus Driving duties).
  • A Queensland Transport Driver's Authorisation Card (if undertaking Bus Driving duties).

Salary Package

The estimated salary for this role is between $39.70 - $43.11 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications, and service size), which equates to approximately $81,350 - $89,000 per annum based on a full-time schedule.
