Our organization is seeking a full-time Work Health and Safety Advisor to join our People, Safety and Culture Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and productive working environment by collaborating with the business.
The role involves driving a proactive, risk-based, and collaborative safety culture.
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation, including Codes of Practice.
A sound knowledge of relevant standards and expertise in workplace incident investigation is also required.
The ideal candidate will have reviewed WHSE success measures to drive the correct WHSE culture.
This position is highly regarded for those with minimum 1 year of WHSE experience in a commercial environment.
The ability to identify and assess risks, ensuring legal compliance, and provide advice and guidance on WHS matters is essential.
Prior experience in achieving WHSE cultural change and managing an integrated safety management system is highly desirable.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring WHSE KPI's, policies, and procedures comply with all applicable legislation and standards.
You will integrate WHSE into our safety culture, and work collaboratively with the business to achieve this goal.
