About Northern Health: Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role: This role will work closely with the Manager – Staff Wellbeing to deliver psychological health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives across all areas of Northern Health
The role will report to the Manager – Staff Wellbeing, assisting in the design and delivery of Northern Health's wellbeing strategy. Operating within a small and passionate wellbeing team, and engaging with the entirety of the Northern Health workforce, this position will work with a full spectrum of wellbeing initiatives in order to meet the needs of employees over all Northern Health sites and a variety of program areas
Key to the success of the role will be the development of working relationships with key stakeholders to make an impact, improve psychological health, safety, and wellbeing culture and implement a sustainable program of work.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Graduate qualification in in a relevant health and/or wellbeing discipline / or proven work experience in either.
- Experience working in Wellbeing or Human Resources roles or departments, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience in creation, development and delivery of wellbeing-based programs and initiatives
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines
- Experience with running group training and education and excellent group facilitation skills
