As a key member of the team, you will work closely with Delivery Leads, Project Managers, Product Owners, and technical and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and develop documentation inputs.
The UNITE program is Westpac's largest transformation project ever, aiming to simplify processes, systems, and technology to deliver a better experience for customers, employees, and shareholders.
A major priority over the next 3-4 years, UNITE focuses on delivering 'one best way' to make our processes simpler so we can deliver a better experience for customers, make things easier for our people, and reduce risk for generations to come.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and assess test data requirements from multiple stakeholders.
- Translate technical and business requirements into clear documentation for different audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document business processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Work with SMEs, delivery teams, and control owners to ensure documentation aligns with compliance, risk, and security standards.
- Support readiness and assurance activities by producing documentation that meets compliance expectations.
- Map current-state and future-state processes and identify operational gaps or improvement areas.
- Provide recommendations for process re-design and improvements that support Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value.
- Ensure knowledge transfer from project to BAU by coordinating walkthroughs and handovers.
