About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Change Lead to drive change within a student CRM (Salesforce) platform implementation program. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a key project in Macquarie University's digital transformation. You will report directly to the Program Manager and will develop and coordinate the delivery of the change strategy to implement a new, consolidated, and secure student CRM platform that will facilitate effective engagement with students throughout their education.

Digital Transformation is a core commitment of the Macquarie University Operating Plan, aimed at embracing emerging technologies to enhance connection, engagement, and collaboration. The university's digital transformation strategy focuses on enabling the Students First objectives through five key areas, striving to deliver excellent experiences and outcomes across all student interactions.

The Student360 Program will deliver a Salesforce-based student CRM platform that supports end-to-end student engagement and service delivery, enabling the university to:

  • Provide a unified, 360-degree view of each student, enhancing engagement while ensuring privacy protections.
  • Transform business processes to identify opportunities for improved services and support.
  • Enable personalized, context-specific services throughout the student journey.
  • Offer a modern, adaptable technology platform that evolves with the university's needs and connects meaningfully with students.
  • Gather insights and analytics across the student lifecycle to inform service improvements.

Replace and decommission legacy systems

You will support the Program Manager in delivering a priority program aligned with the university's digital transformation strategy. The Change Lead will be a vital part of the strategic delivery team, influencing decisions, managing stakeholders, and developing high-quality change and communication strategies.

Your expertise as a change agent, grounded in current change management frameworks, will drive effective models for strategic initiatives, applying organizational and people change skills to various impacts to ensure timely delivery and support the university's digital transformation.

About You

You are proactive, with prior experience leading change management outcomes in higher education. You have successfully delivered change in large digital transformation projects involving people, processes, technology, and culture.

Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will facilitate conveying complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. Your ability to simplify complex information will strengthen our change strategies, fostering understanding and alignment. Your senior project management perspective will enhance the practicality and effectiveness of change delivery.
