Drive cultural and behavioural change across a complex academic and professional services environment.

We are seeking an experienced Change Lead with a strong background in higher education to support a major cultural and behavioural transformation program at one of Australia's leading universities. This initiative is designed to embed new ways of working, strengthen organisational values, and create a more inclusive, collaborative, and future-ready institution.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and delivery of change strategies to support cultural and behavioural transformation across the university.
  • Partner with senior leaders and professional staff to drive awareness, buy-in, and sustained adoption of new behaviours.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, and readiness planning across faculties and business units.
  • Develop and implement targeted communication, engagement, and capability uplift initiatives aligned with institutional values and program outcomes.
  • Monitor change effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements to support long-term cultural change.

About You :

  • Proven experience as a Change Lead or Senior Change Manager on complex people and culture initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading change within a higher education setting - strong understanding of academic environments, governance, and operating models.
  • Expertise in organisational culture, behaviour change, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and coach senior leaders.
  • Relevant qualifications in change management (e.g., PROSCI, IAP2) or organisational psychology highly desirable.
