Dental Governance Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced clinical governance professional to join our Dental Corporation team in a key leadership role. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.
Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of quality clinical practice standards across our dental practices. The successful candidate will work closely with our General Manager Contract Management and Governance to ensure compliance with Bupa policies, relevant legislation, and regulatory agencies.
The key accountabilities of this role include:
- Ensuring all incidents are reported and managed, with agreed corrective actions completed within designated timeframes.
- Working closely with our Head Dentist to track progress and provide updates on changes to priorities or strategy.
- Responsibility for all Clinical Governance contractual documentation and managing internal reporting obligations.
- Coordination and oversight of audit and compliance monitoring activities from internal and external parties.
- Managing Clinical Governance Internal Controls and Risk Management Assessment (ICRMA) requirements.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of corrective/preventive action programs in conjunction with the Head Dentist.
- Managing credentialing activities involving Bupa contracted health practitioners, including AHPRA PIE and credentialing audits.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to support safe operations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent and current AHPRA registration.
- Postgraduate qualification in health management, clinical governance, or related discipline highly regarded.
- A high level of clinical control management experience, along with a proven background in governance and quality assurance.
- Experience applying risk and assurance frameworks to drive business outcomes and contractual obligations.
- Leadership and people management experience, with a demonstrable record of driving engagement and performance.
