Job Description:

The Pathways Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the comprehensive development and implementation of projects within the Coach, Pathways and Competitive Play teams. This position is central to coordinating coach events, professional development programs, project activations, program initiatives, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish effective communication channels with external stakeholders to support the delivery of tennis programs and pathways.
  • Create a customer feedback cycle for stakeholder engagements and implement it within team practices.
  • Support the planning, delivery, and follow-up of various programs and events in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate regional projects aimed at increasing the number of coaches and player participation in targeted areas.
  • Support the facilitation of professional development opportunities for coaches and competitive play stakeholders.
  • Manage operations and logistics for events, initiatives, and projects, including venue bookings, invoicing, equipment provision, and participant registration.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary degree in a relevant business or sport development/management field.
  • An understanding of the tennis industry and state sporting structures.
  • High-level interpersonal skills and communication skills with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong administration skills, including computer literacy, record-keeping, and report writing.
  • A current Police Check and Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility in working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis QLD.
