About Our Employer Partnerships Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping meaningful employment pathways for veterans and their partners by engaging with employers nationally to source and co-create tailored employment opportunities. You will educate employers on the unique value veterans bring to the workforce, building strong networks and relationships to expand reach and impact.

This is not just a placement role – it's about creating long-term, sustainable pathways and transforming how industry connects with veteran talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and co-creating employment opportunities with employers nationally
  • Educating employers on the value of hiring veterans
  • Building strategic partnerships with employers and community stakeholders
  • Developing a program framework and business processes to ensure a consistent service
  • Collaborating with internal specialists to identify and nurture employer partnerships
Requirements
  • A collaborative mindset and strong team orientation with a commitment to making an impact
  • Proven ability to take initiative and drive results in dynamic environments
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build presence across Defence and Veteran communities
  • Depth of experience in business development, stakeholder management, and creating non-traditional employment pathways
  • Ability to develop and improve business processes to enhance client experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Flexibility to work across broad geographical areas, including travel
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, HR, or a related field
