About the Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing the activities of a single shift or a segment within the processing operations, spanning across all shifts or multiple areas. Key activities will include:

  • Responsible for overseeing employees and organising equipment deployment to fulfill processing and safety standards within the designated area.
  • Coordinates and supervises daily processing activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Sets priorities for the team to achieve task completion and coordinates work activities with other supervisors and departments.
  • Addresses issues using established practices and precedents; decisions are influenced by policies and the business plan.

About You:

  • A demonstrated commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Experience leading a team in an industrial environment with a process focus (desirable).
  • A passion for developing, training, coaching, and motivating your people and enabling their success.
  • Tertiary degree or Trade/Technical diploma in a relevant discipline would be considered an asset and a valid driver's license.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Sound risk management skills and ability to make decisions based on risk.
