Job Overview

The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily processing activities, ensuring smooth operations and effective team management.

About the Role

This key position is responsible for:

  • Overseeing Process employees and organizing equipment deployment to fulfill processing and safety standards within the designated area.
  • Coordinates and supervises daily processing activities to ensure efficient operation.
  • Sets priorities for the team to achieve task completion and coordinates work activities with other supervisors and departments.
  • Addresses issues using established practices and precedents; decisions are influenced by policies, procedures, and the business plan.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A demonstrated commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Experience leading a team in an industrial or similar environment with a process focus (desirable).
  • A passion for developing, training, coaching and motivating your people and enabling their success.
  • Tertiary degree or Trade/Technical diploma in a relevant discipline would be considered an asset.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Sound risk management skills and ability to make decisions based on risk.
