Our friendly teams look after each other because your safety and wellbeing are always our priority About The Role As the Process Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of a single shift or a segment within the processing operations, spanning across all shifts or multiple areas.

Working in a challenging and exciting environment, key activities will include Responsible for overseeing Process employees and organizing equipment deployment to fulfill processing and safety standards within the designated area.
Coordinates and supervises daily processing activities to ensure smooth operations.
Sets priorities for the team to achieve task completion and coordinates work activities with other supervisors and departments.
Addresses issues using established practices and precedents; decisions are influenced by policies, procedures, and the business plan.
Facilitating Lean and management system activities within the team or designated area.
About You To thrive in this role, you should bring A demonstrated commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Experience leading a team in an industrial or similar environment with a process focus (desirable)A passion for developing, training, coaching and motivating your people and enabling their success Tertiary degree or Trade/Technical diploma in a relevant discipline would be considered an asset and a valid driver's license Effective communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Sound risk management skills and ability to make decisions based on risk What We Offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you've helped the world progress.

Boyne Smelters Limited is Australia's second largest aluminium smelter with a 1,000-person strong workforce.
Located approximately 20km south east of Gladstone at Boyne Island on the Central Queensland coast, BSL produces around 500,000 tonnes of aluminium per annum.
Activities at BSL include manufacturing carbon anodes in the carbon plant, aluminium production (smelting) in reduction lines, and casting of molten material into aluminium products ready to ship.
The smelter is connected via a conveyor belt to the Queensland Alumina Limited refinery for the supply of alumina.
