Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Process Operator to join our team at the GLNG plant on Curtis Island. As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing operational and minor maintenance duties to ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound operation of the LNG Facility.

  • You will work as part of a shift team, responding to emergency situations and operating process areas safely and efficiently.
  • You will identify and report workplace hazards, incidents, and near misses, taking action to control hazards.
  • You will maintain effective communication with your team members and others, ensuring well-documented and structured shift handovers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate process equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to emergencies and take corrective action to prevent injuries and environmental damage.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to plant operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate III or IV in Process Plant Technology.
  • The ability to obtain a MSIC Security Card.
  • A trade background within the process industry.
