Reliability Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled reliability specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and maintainability of our assets.

  • You will conduct thorough investigations to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions to optimize asset performance.
  • You will develop and maintain reliable engineering processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • You will perform various analyses to determine the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of systems, including Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in reliability engineering.
  • Understanding of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) process.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in Defence major/mission systems, preferably Land or Maritime Systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management.
  • Experience in Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON), including Requirements Traceability.
  • Experience or knowledge of document configuration management.
  • Baseline Security Clearance.
