Reliability and Maintainability Specialist

The primary goal of this role is to ensure the reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough investigations to identify potential issues in existing systems or processes;
  • Preparing detailed reports on findings and recommending improvements;
  • Developing and maintaining reliable engineering processes and procedures;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance;
  • Performing advanced analysis and modeling techniques to assess system reliability and safety;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in a field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
  • Significant experience in reliability engineering, preferably in a defence or maritime industry setting;
  • Strong understanding of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) process and its application in ensuring optimal system performance;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting;
  • Desirable qualifications include knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management and experience working with Defence Contracting (ASDEFCON).
