  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in project/contractual engineering/construction, degree qualified or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel, as well as confidence in database development and management are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the improvement of document control systems and assist in developing applicable proforma agreements for projects.
  • Provide commercial support and guidance on all issues to projects and fellow commercial staff to achieve their maximum potential.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and manage subcontract progress payment claims, variations to subcontractors, contractual claims, and final accounts in accordance with terms of the Subcontract and relevant security of payment legislation.

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel. Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively prioritize a busy workload to meet project deadlines.
  • A strong team player within a diverse environment, able to influence others and interact with a diverse range of people.

Position Requirements:

  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of head contracts and proforma subcontracts, ensuring all contractual notices are submitted as per contract requirements and on time.
  • Facilitate commercial disputes, mediation, and adjudication claims, and mitigate contractual/legal exposure.
  • Manage and resolve disputes with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, and finalize claims and procurement of Contract Value Agreements.
