Strategic Commercial Oversight Role for Water Infrastructure Projects

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in securing the future of water across South East Queensland. We are seeking an experienced commercial professional to lead strategic commercial oversight for Seqwater's high-value infrastructure projects.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic commercial oversight for all phases of infrastructure projects from planning and design through to execution.
  • Manage incoming commercial requests and allocate tasks across the team based on expertise, workload, and project priorities.
  • Lead the team in monitoring project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
  • Guide the team in proactively identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
  • Operate within a matrix-style operating model, collaborating across projects led by a core project delivery team.

This role is ideal for a seasoned commercial professional with a strong track record in contracts or commercial management within major infrastructure delivery. If you have a passion for creating lasting outcomes for communities, this may be the opportunity for you.

">Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in Business, Law, or a related engineering discipline.
  • At least 10 years' experience in commercial agreements within major infrastructure delivery.
  • Proven experience in contracts or commercial management in the infrastructure or construction sectors.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
