Lead Recall Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of a recall strategy, ensuring alignment with quality and safety objectives.

This role requires strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to determine severity and required actions for recall-related events.

The successful candidate will oversee the rollout of a centralized recall management system across all sites and manage ongoing reporting and risk-informed lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a recall policy and framework, including governance and escalation protocols
  • Overseeing the implementation of the framework across all sites
  • Acting as the clinical risk liaison across departments, providing expert advice on recalls and adverse events
  • Supporting hospitals with training and education on the new system

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience with recalls in a clinical setting
  • Intermediate knowledge of medical devices (consumables, implants, equipment)
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across clinical and non-clinical domains
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure
