Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Shift Fitter. This role involves working in the Blast Furnace maintenance team based in Port Kembla, ensuring equipment is maintained to high standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for isolating equipment and performing maintenance and repairs, inspecting quality-critical equipment and fault finding, resolving issues and fixing non-conformances, providing supply, stock and purchase requisitions, schedules, work orders, and parts listings via the computerised maintenance management system.

This is a shift position that includes a shift relief component. The initial roster will involve 12-hour, 24x7 rotating shifts (days and nights, Monday to Sunday) to support the No.6 Blast Furnace until mid-2026; hours/shift may change after completion.
