Human Resource Manager – Payroll Services

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of HR Operations and Payroll Specialist. This is a key position within our Human Resources Department in Sydney, Australia.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing human resource support and services to departments within Australia Operations. They will also manage payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include ensuring monthly pay is accurate and compliant, participating in payroll audits, and acting as a local contact for payroll-related queries.
In addition, the ideal candidate will undertake projects such as system updates, data reviews, and seeking efficiencies. They will partner with the HR Business Partner on various projects and activities.
Requirements:- Tertiary study in HR/Business related field
- 5+ years' experience in similar role/s
- In-depth understanding of employment law and legislative environment
- Good with numbers, data, and problem-solving
- Experience and confidence with Australian payroll, payroll tax, WorkCover Insurance
- Lovely collaboration and building great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Previous experience with Workday and ADP is highly desirable but not required.
