We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Private Business Family Advisory division, where you'll be part of a dynamic team working with a diverse range of clients from various industries.

The role involves conducting taxation and accounting needs, providing unique advisory services, and interacting closely with other business units. You'll have access to multiple partners and work under a flat management structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review financial accounts, tax returns, and other documents prepared by junior staff members.
  • Prepare complex corporate and company tax returns.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Corporations Act, accounting standards, and tax legislation.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and review of fringe benefits tax returns and detailed knowledge of state taxes.
  • Prepare individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns with limited supervision.
  • Analyze management reports for clients, including cash flow statements and budgets.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax office correspondence and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare standard management reports for clients.

Requirements:

  • A CA program completion or equivalent experience in a business services division.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent reporting skills, comfort in handling corporate, trust, super, and individual accounting and taxation compliance.
  • Ideal experience in family office and high net wealth passive wealth clients.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and think creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail, confident demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
