Foster Care and Kinship Care Manager Role

Our organisation is seeking a dedicated leader to oversee the delivery of trauma-informed case management services.
The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals in providing support to children, young people, and their families. They will be responsible for overseeing the provision of permanency services, collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective support plans, and guiding staff members to ensure a cohesive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related discipline
- Minimum five years' experience working with Children and Young People in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC)
- Experience working with Aboriginal young people, their families, and communities
Please note that applicants are required to obtain a Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW) and have a satisfactory National Criminal History Check undertaken by HR.
Key Responsibilities:- Case Management Services: Provide trauma-informed case management services to children, young people, and their families
- Leadership: Lead a team of professionals in delivering case management services
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective support plans
- Staff Development: Guide and support staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
