Role Overview

The Avionics Systems Specialist will provide technical support and troubleshooting for government contracts related to avionics systems, radio communications, and defense-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for various government contracts.
  • SUPPORT testing activities within the program as required and liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Technical and System Engineering Teams to establish testing priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and providing solutions.
  • Manage project activities, including equipment installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and customer personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities and provide regular progress reports.
Requirements
  • Degree or Certificate IV in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of avionics systems, radio communications, and related technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating technical concepts.
Estimated Salary

Around AU$120,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
