Aerospace and Defence Field Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Lane Cove West, NSW. As a key member of our support engineering team, you will provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for government contracts related to avionics systems, radio communications, and defence-related equipment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a recognised leader in the global defence and aerospace industry. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and solutions to clients, working collaboratively with internal teams to achieve project objectives.

  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for various government contracts.
  • Support testing activities within the program as required.
  • Collaborate with Technical and System Engineering Teams to establish testing priorities.

As a successful candidate, you will have a strong background in avionics, radio communications, and technical support, particularly within the defence sector. Your ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package including:

  • $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Degree or Certificate IV or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in field service engineering, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of avionics systems, radio communications, and related technologies.
