PIAWE Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled PIAWE Specialist to join our team at 3001 DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited. As a PIAWE Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end process of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) for injured workers in line with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act.

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Manage escalations and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide detailed explanations to clients on the calculation of PIAWE and the factors considered.
• Utilize problem-solving skills with high attention to detail to resolve complex issues.
• Liaise with claim stakeholders to advise on process, obtain necessary documentation, and provide outcomes of reviews.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, company policies, and procedures.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Intermediate computer skills to navigate various software systems.
• Previous experience in customer service and administration, with a focus on claims management.
• Ability to plan and organize work to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Background in working with legislative requirements and guidelines.
• Ability to interpret payroll data, EBA's, and contracts of service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
• Ability to adapt to different situations and drive outcomes.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
