Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team, specializing in the litigation and recovery of costs associated with demurrage claims. The successful candidate will report to the National Recoveries Manager and will be instrumental in delivering high-quality legal services and debt recovery solutions within the motor insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming phone inquiries
- Maintain effective communication with clients
- Organize and manage appointment schedules
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and individuals
- Recover costs from various insurance providers and clients
- Collaborate with solicitors across the country
- Draft correspondence for clients, solicitors, and insurance firms
- Assist in litigation efforts nationwide
- File legal documents throughout Australia
- Conduct research and compile evidence for court proceedings
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience as a Legal Assistant
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the insurance sector is advantageous
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, located in a vibrant area with convenient access to public transport.
