Main Responsibilities:
- Support frontline bankers in their business development activities, including input on transactions that incorporate key industry fundamentals, best practice deal structuring, and support in customer engagement as an industry subject matter expert.
- Develop a network of internal and external contacts to provide industry knowledge and insights for industry-focused presentations, industry reviews, and internal reporting documents.
- Provide guidance and direction to the Business/Support Units and/or subsidiaries on the Group Policy Framework and policy development, management, and governance.
- Support various growth initiatives, which may require the identification, research, and compilation of information on new-to-bank prospects.
- Establish and effectively manage relationships and communications with policy stakeholders to achieve the desired governance and policy outcomes.
- Identify areas of support required for frontline teams and deliver training to support the upskilling and capability within the Health industry vertical.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- A banking professional with a passion for the healthcare industry, possessing credit and risk experience.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including frontline distribution teams, risk executives, compliance, marketing, external industry bodies, and advisory firms.
- Solid communication and influencing skills to effectively manage stakeholders.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with a focus on achieving outcomes.
- Effective presentation skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
