Electrical Systems Engineer Role Overview 

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at the Bayswater Head Office. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing complex electrical systems for industrial machinery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical professional who is passionate about innovation and problem-solving. You will have the chance to work on varied international projects and contribute to project FAT/SAT activities.

  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial machinery.
  • Collaborate with technical leaders to establish best practice standards for electrical design, ECAD implementation, and machine safety.
  • Provide timely reports on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Deliver comprehensive electrical systems documentation, including schematics, design reports, test plans, bills of materials, and automated eplan reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechatronics, electrical, or electronic engineering or a related field.
  • Registered professional engineer accreditation (or eligibility to apply).
  • Approximately 5-10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software tools from Eplan, such as Eplan Electric P8, Cogineer, ProPanel, etc.
  • Experience in electrical component selection, electrical cabinet design, 3-phase power distribution, earth and grounding design, and EMC testing and compliance.
