Worker Liaison Officer Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support our international workers in the Gingin region.

This is a casual role that will involve providing care and support to ensure our workers assimilate into their local environment, the workplace, and build skills required for independent living.

You will be the workers' key point of contact, addressing their enquiries and assisting them to build skills to resolve their concerns independently. Building trust and strong relationships with workers is crucial to this role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for getting the best out of relationships, and a genuine desire to help others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Addressing worker enquiries and assisting them to build skills to resolve their concerns independently;
  • Building trust and strong relationships with workers;
  • Assisting workers with access to services required (e.g., medical);
  • Acting as a communication conduit between workers, clients, and our team;
  • Identifying any risks to worker wellbeing and escalating as required.

This is a flexible role that requires you to work varying hours, including weekends. We can offer flexibility with your working arrangements to make it work both ways.

Requirements:
  • A valid driver's licence;
  • Residing in the Gingin area and being familiar with the local area;
  • Excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach to work;
  • A genuine desire to help others, patience, and cultural sensitivity.

Please note a police check and valid working rights are a pre-requisite.
