Key Liaison Officer
About the RoleWe seek a dedicated individual to work in our labour hire division, supporting international workers through the PALMS program.
This role involves acting as a key point of contact for workers, providing care and support to ensure their successful integration into local environments, workplaces, and communities.
- Responding to diverse worker enquiries and helping them develop skills to resolve concerns independently;
- Building trust and strong relationships with workers to understand and address any matters of concern;
- Assisting workers with access to necessary services (e.g., medical);
- Acting as a communication conduit between workers, clients, and MADEC;
- Identifying potential risks to worker wellbeing and escalating as required.
We welcome applicants without prior experience, provided they possess the right mindset and are willing to learn.
- Residing in the Gingin area and being familiar with the local community, as regular travel is required to visit workers and clients throughout the region;
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for building effective relationships through a person-centred approach;
- A genuine desire to help others, combined with patience and cultural sensitivity to foster meaningful connections with workers;
- Hold a valid driver's licence to provide on-the-ground support to workers.
