Job Overview

A senior technical role is available to drive operational excellence across Concrete & Aggregates and Masonry divisions. This position will provide product subject matter expertise and support to regional teams, leading the implementation of best practice quality guidelines.


Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to regional teams and oversee the implementation of ISO9001 management system.
  • Develop and enforce best practice quality guidelines for inspection, batching controls, mix design, contract review processes, and training materials.
  • Identify and drive key improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and enhance product quality.
  • Measure and report progress against agreed improvement opportunities.

Requirements
  • Minimum ten years' experience in a technical role within the construction materials industry.
  • Engineering or materials science degree highly regarded, but not essential.
  • Proven experience managing continuous improvement programs.
  • Working knowledge of QEST, Australian Standards, and Infrastructure Specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical abilities.
