Senior Executive Talent Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Professional to join our Executive Talent, Development & Succession team. As an integral part of our People, Culture and Communications (PC&C) function, this role will play a critical role in identifying, attracting and retaining top talent for Telstra.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Sourcing: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their executive talent requirements and proactively source, identify and assess prospective candidates through long- and short-listing and offer negotiation.
- Candidate Management: Interview and assess prospective candidates against specific capabilities required for executive roles, providing high-quality candidate reports for shortlist candidates outlining key strengths, development areas, areas to further probe, etc.
- Development Programs: Understand the development needs of our existing and potential executive talent population and support their development by helping coordinate, action and evolve executive development programs, tools and initiatives to aid their executive development and readiness.
- Market Representation: Represent Telstra effectively in the marketplace, presenting a comprehensive universe of qualified candidates by partnering with People Leaders and Business Engagement Leads (BELs), observing the need for confidentiality throughout the search process and providing a high quality of candidate care aligned with Telstra's Values.
To succeed in this role, you will require:

- Strategic Sourcing: Strategic sourcing skills to increase market and prospective candidate knowledge, connecting and sourcing people rather than relying on desk research.
- Resilience: Tenacity to push through ambiguity and achieve great outcomes, demonstrating resilience in the face of challenges.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, working collaboratively with others to achieve shared success.
