Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Visy. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition project team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce by sourcing top talent in technical trades and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team to recruit technical trade, blue-collar, and engineering roles for Visy sites in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to attract talent for a range of critical projects and role types.
  • Research and source key talents, building and maintaining talent pools to ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders across Visy sites to meet recruitment needs.
  • Provide guidance on Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) interpretation and compliance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain a human-centric approach, delivering a positive and engaging experience for candidates from application through to onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in recruiting technical trade, blue-collar, or engineering roles, with expertise in high-volume settings and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate recruitment software for efficient candidate management and communication.
  • Experience in the use of various sourcing channels and proactive talent pooling.
  • Deep technical understanding of the unique recruitment needs in trades and manufacturing industries.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Driven results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets.
