Senior Executive Talent Specialist

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join Telstra's Executive Talent, Development & Succession team, which oversees the talent acquisition and development needs across all Telstra functions. As a Senior Executive Talent Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand leadership requirements, sourcing and assessing prospective talent, and supporting the development of our existing and potential executive talent population.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic advice on talent market trends and competitor insights.
- Collaborate with executive People Leaders and Business Engagement Leads to understand executive talent requirements, source and identify prospective talent, and negotiate offers.
- Interview and assess prospective candidates against specific capabilities required for executive roles, and write high-quality candidate reports outlining key strengths, development areas, and areas for further probing.
- Understand the development needs of our existing and potential executive talent population and support their development by coordinating, actioning, and evolving executive development programs, tools, and initiatives.
- Represent Telstra effectively in the marketplace, presenting a comprehensive universe of qualified candidates, and ensuring confidentiality throughout the search process.
- Collaborate with other Talent Acquisition delivery teams to discover new ways of working, share sourcing initiatives, and drive continuous improvement of innovative recruitment strategies.
- Ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is top of mind during all recruitment activities, ensuring we stay committed to delivering gender-balanced shortlists and other agreed recruitment diversity initiatives.

You will have the ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and work at pace without compromising quality. You will also have a proactive 'can-do' attitude, strategic sourcing skills, resilience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
