**Job Opportunity: APS5 Policy Officer**

The APS5 Policy Officer is a key member of our team responsible for coordinating workflow and making informed decisions.

This role involves providing policy advice within a specialisation area, based on relevant policies and legislation. The position undertakes moderately complex to complex research, analysis, and advisory work, guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.

  • Supporting the Procurement team with administrative tasks and handling confidential information.
  • Providing procurement guidance and support to various stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, as well as Agency Procurement Policy and procedures.
  • Assisting in tracking value for money outcomes and preparing reports against key performance indicators.
  • Preparing procurement-related documentation.
  • Entering, extracting, and manipulating data to facilitate accurate reporting.
  • Contributing to team planning activities, including identifying opportunities for improvement.
