We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and deliver surface water modelling for major transport infrastructure projects. This is a chance to work on significant road, rail, and civil infrastructure projects, delivering sustainable and resilient water solutions.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with at least 10 years' experience in flood modelling and surface water engineering for transport infrastructure. Demonstrated proficiency in tools like TUFLOW, WBNM, RORB, HEC-RAS, XP-RAFTS, 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC, and QGIS platforms is essential.
This role requires strong knowledge of ARR, TMR standards, and Austroads guidelines. Experience with rail projects would be beneficial to the role. Additionally, the ability to lead or contribute to flood impact assessments and waterway assessments for infrastructure planning and design is required.
About You- A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- At least 10 years' experience in flood modelling and surface water engineering for transport infrastructure.
- Demonstrated proficiency in tools like TUFLOW, WBNM, RORB, HEC-RAS, XP-RAFTS, 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC, and QGIS platforms.
- Strong knowledge of ARR, TMR standards, and Austroads guidelines.
- Ability to lead or contribute to flood impact assessments and waterway assessments for infrastructure planning and design.
You will also need excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. RPEQ or eligibility to apply for it is highly regarded.
