Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating quality assurance and control activities on a major project in the Northern Territory.

  • Develop and implement construction and source inspection planning to monitor and report on inspection progress.
  • Ensure required quality documentation is implemented to ensure compliance with established codes.
  • Carry out audits of sub-contractors' quality documentation to ensure it is up-to-date and signed off.
  • Support with technical queries and issue Non-Conformance Reports for non-compliant work.
  • Carry out weld inspections to ensure compliance with applicable welding codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of material traceability and welding procedures, and Quality Management Plans.
  • Good welding knowledge and versatile experience from previous roles in SMP, civil works, and site construction an advantage.
  • A strong work ethic to work in a remote location and the hours required for a demanding project.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
