We are seeking a highly skilled Mine System Engineer to join our team at Minara Resources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mining systems, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain mining systems, including OT systems, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Support the Team Lead in developing and implementing maintenance plans for OT systems.
  • Review and enhance in-pit communication infrastructure to ensure full coverage.
  • Support CAS integration with Murrin Murrin operations.
  • Monitor and respond to network and system incidents, ensuring OT security.
  • Liaise with IT to protect systems and data, managing OT system requirements.
  • Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements for OT systems, including collision avoidance.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers and support change management processes.
About You

We are looking for a proficient systems specialist with a strong background in STEM disciplines. You will also have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • WA 'C' class driver's licence.
  • Proficiency in Wi-Fi mesh networks, RF, and collision avoidance technologies (preferred).
  • Experience with mobile equipment and technology systems (heavy or light vehicles).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn OT and communication systems.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including integrated management systems and office applications.
