Key Responsibilities- System Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor and identify areas for improvement in our mining systems, and implement changes to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Maintenance Planning: Support the Team Lead in developing and implementing maintenance plans for Operational Technology (OT) systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Infrastructure Enhancement: Review and enhance in-pit communication infrastructure to ensure full coverage and optimal performance.
- CAS Integration: Support the integration of CAS systems with Murrin Murrin operations, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
- Incident Response: Monitor and respond to network and system incidents, ensuring OT security and minimal disruption to operations.
- Collaboration and Liaison: Liaise with IT teams to protect systems and data, and manage OT system requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements for OT systems, including collision avoidance technologies.
- Change Management: Collaborate with third-party providers and support change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of new systems and technologies.
- Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline.
- Driver's Licence: Possess a WA 'C' class driver's licence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Wi-Fi mesh networks, RF, and collision avoidance technologies (preferred).
- Experience: Experience with mobile equipment and technology systems (heavy or light vehicles).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge and Willingness: Knowledge of or willingness to learn OT and communication systems.
- Computer Skills: Exceptional computer skills, including integrated management systems and office applications.
