Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the NSW Rural Fire Service's ICT Team as a Chief Information Security Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading security resources and guiding the organisation to invest in technology and capability that aligns with required policy and governance, protecting assets and reputation from cyber security threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a capability framework of security resources that aligns with organisational risk and manages existing and emerging threats.
  • Use experience in cyber security to guide the development and implementation of technology and capability investments.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational policy and governance requirements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in cyber security, including threat management and risk assessment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A deep understanding of organisational risk and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate it.
