Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team at Zone IT Solutions. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough application security assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities,
- Develop and implement secure coding practices and guidelines to protect our applications from cyber threats,
- Collaborate closely with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development life cycle (SDLC),
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely and effective manner,
- Perform regular security audits and risk assessments of applications and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards,
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure our applications and systems remain secure and resilient.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field,
- Proven experience as an Information Security Specialist or related role with a strong track record of success,
- Strong knowledge of application security best practices and frameworks, including secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities,
- Experience with manual and automated penetration testing techniques and tools, such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP,
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make informed decisions to drive security improvements,
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
