About Our Client:
Our client is a leading construction group in Melbourne, dedicated to providing an inclusive and friendly workplace. They are seeking a Temporary Office Administrator to assist with various ad hoc tasks and data entry during a busy period.
Job Description:
As a Temporary Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting office operations. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and providing general office support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in organising and maintaining office files and records.
- Provide general administrative support to various teams within the organisation.
- Help with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
- Assist in managing incoming and outgoing mail and emails.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries and direct them appropriately.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organised office environment.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience in an office administration role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Duration and Compensation:
This is a temporary position ready to start ASAP and last 8 weeks. The position will be full time with a competitive hourly rate, and the opportunity for extension based on performance and company needs.
