Take on a pivotal leadership role shaping the future of fleet and equipment maintenance across Australia.

As National Fleet & Equipment Maintenance Manager, you will set and drive standards for safe, compliant, and cost-effective workshop operations. You'll lead the delivery of national maintenance strategies, ensuring heavy vehicles and yellow gear are available, reliable, and performing to meet customer needs.

You will oversee contract frameworks, warranty programs, and vendor partnerships to strengthen asset performance while driving cost control and sustainability outcomes. Partnering with operational teams, you'll provide critical oversight across people, assets, market engagement, and financials to deliver strong national outcomes aligned to strategic pillars.

About You
  • An experienced leader in managing complex, multi-asset environments with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated success in leading fleet maintenance or engineering functions, with strong compliance and safety leadership.
  • Deep technical knowledge of heavy vehicle maintenance standards, regulatory requirements, and workshop operations.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing large maintenance budgets and performance-based contracts.
  • A collaborative, outcome-focused leadership style engaging teams and external providers to deliver consistency and excellence.
  • Familiarity with fleet and maintenance systems supporting diagnostics, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Formal qualifications in mechanical or automotive engineering (post-graduate qualifications highly regarded).
