Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work with a large cancer care provider, providing systemic therapy, radiation therapy, and medical oncology consulting services. We're seeking experienced medical oncology Registered Nurses to join our team at our new oncology infusion centre in Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert clinical care, education, and support to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  • Respond to patient needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effectively manage nursing patient loads.
  • Foster effective communication with medical officers, patient services staff, and other members of the nursing team.
  • Maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice medical oncology nursing standards.
Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Medical oncology and chemotherapy administration experience in a clinical setting (at least 3 years).
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement and best practice principles, including NSQHS.
  • Strong commitment to quality patient care.
  • Interest in continuing professional development.
