We empower individuals with disabilities to live life on their own terms.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor participants in skill development and exploration of personal interests.
- Teach independent living skills, including cooking, domestic tasks, and social engagement.
- Provide medication support and adhere to individual plans.
- Ensure clear documentation through handovers and incident reports.
- Offer personal care services such as toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing.
- Promote community engagement through recreational activities and cultural inclusion.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Effective communication skills for verbal and non-verbal interactions.
- A current full driver's license.
- A National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- First Aid & CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain.
- Qualifications in Disability or Community Services are advantageous.
- An hourly rate based on the SCHADS Award 2.1/2.2.
