Responsibilities

As part of our Accommodation Services team, you'll provide consistent, person-centred support that helps participants live with independence and dignity. Your day-to-day may include:

  • Supporting people with daily living, personal care, and routines.
  • Helping create a safe, comfortable home environment by assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household tasks.
  • Encouraging participants to build independence and connect meaningfully with their community.
  • Administering medication and following support plans with professionalism.
  • Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and coordinators to provide the best possible care.
  • Keeping accurate records to ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • A calm, compassionate, and respectful approach.
  • The ability to listen and empower people to make their own choices.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and confidence in managing day-to-day challenges.
  • A commitment to doing the right thing—even when no one is watching.
  • Experience in disability support, aged care, mental health, or community services will be highly regarded.
Requirements

What You'll Need

  • A valid Driver's Licence & reliable transport.
  • Police Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children's Check, and First Aid (we can help you obtain these if needed).
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
