We are seeking a caring Community Support Worker to join our Home and Community Care team in Perth's South Metropolitan area on a part-time basis.

In this rewarding role, you'll provide personal care and everyday support that empowers clients to live safely and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care with dignity and comfort
  • Assist with medication (full training provided)
  • Support daily living activities for high-care clients
  • Lend a hand at home with domestic duties and light cleaning
  • Be a friendly face by providing social support and companionship
  • Follow personalized care plans to meet clients' needs and preferences
  • Encourage independence using our wellness approach
  • Share a chat, a smile or a listening ear to make a difference

Requirements:

  • Previous aged care or community care experience, including personal care
  • Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) – desirable
  • A current Australian driver's license and your own reliable car
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people to live independently
  • The ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Good communication skills and a caring nature
  • The ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team
