Job Description

Are you a seasoned retail professional looking to expand your influence and leadership skills? We are seeking an ambitious individual to fill the role of Strategic Retail Portfolio Leader, overseeing multiple centres and managing a team of Centre Managers in Melbourne.

About the Role
  • Leverage your centre management experience across multiple retail assets to drive performance and growth.
  • Mentor and develop Centre Managers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills.
  • Step into budget and business planning at portfolio level, building on your centre-based financial experience.
  • Represent the organization at client meetings and become the key relationship manager for major retail clients.
  • Drive performance across multiple assets using operational insights and data analysis.
  • Lead new business presentations, leveraging your hands-on experience to win new mandates.
  • Manage compliance and risk across the portfolio, applying your practical knowledge at scale.
  • Provide strategic market advice to clients based on your deep understanding of retail operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven Centre Manager experience with strong operational and financial results.
  • Leadership potential, having mentored junior staff and ready to lead managers.
  • Strong client relationship skills developed through day-to-day centre operations.
  • Practical problem-solving abilities honed through managing real estate challenges.
  • Financial acumen from preparing centre budgets and managing operational costs.
  • Market knowledge of Melbourne's retail landscape.
  • Agent's Representative licence (essential).
